ICT and Career Guidance Conference

The Euroguidance Centre in Malta together with Directorate for Educational Services, Student Services Department and the Malta Career Guidance Association organised the Annual Euroguidance Conference on ‘ICT and Career Guidance’. 

A foreign keynote speaker, Tristam Hooley, who is Professor of Career Education and Head of the International Centre for Guidance Studies, University of Derby, who has done a lot of work on the role of technology in career development addressed the Conference. His speech was entitled ‘What can you teach the next generation about using the internet (for their career)?’ The Conference also included workshops on ‘The Role of New Technologies in Careers Work’. The target audience for the Conference were career guidance practitioners, guidance teachers, employment advisors and other stakeholders in the field of career guidance.
